Possibley TMI, you have been warned

Didn't go to the gym last night. I had already made plans to go to
this 70's Dance night. I went home and rested instead then went out
and danced. Got home around 1 ish.
I ate pretty well yesterday.
Got my period too. got on scale this morning, lost 3.8 lbs. I think
its all water weight. Normally it takes me longer to lose wter weight
after my period starts. Oh well. I will take it.

Last night was fun. I just sat around drinking soda and dancing.
Tonight is another music thing. But not as much dancing. Tomorrow is
Shag Frenzy where I am sure I will dance it all off. YAY!

Day 1

Today is Day 1 of South Beach.
I had an omelet with mushrooms, ham and low fat cheese for breakfast.
I have low fat string cheese for a morning snack. Celery with peanut butter (all natural Trader Joe's PB) for afternoon snack. Salad with ham for lunch and a sugarfree jello for lunch as well.
Dinner will likely be smoked salmon on cucumbers with some cream cheese. (sooo yummy).

I bought a tape measure last night and took my measuements.
Hips 54"
Waist 44.5"
Chest 51"
Under chest. 43.5 "
I am very round. I don't like that. Oh well. At least I know where I am now. I know I have been losing inches for awhile. All my pants and shirts fit better. And as B put it last week at gym my tummy was smaller/less when doing sit ups. I will take all that I can get!

Elliptical 40 min..... 451 calories

There is a jo ann fabrics near gym. Here to buy a tape measure so I can measure inches lost. Weight is coming off slowly but most of my clothes feel big.

The frustrations of dieting.

I have decided to do the South Beach Diet. I was just counting calories but I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere. A friend has been doing South Beach for a few weeks and I decided to read the book. I like the plan overall. I didn't start the diet yet because I wanted to go through the food left at home and I was waiting for a paycheck for a grocery trip.

Here I will also talk about the gym. What exercises I do and how much.
I turn 30 on July 18th and I want to be a different me when that happens. It started a few months ago when I quit smoking, then I started watching what I eat then it was the gym. Baby steps to big changes.
